Just a hole in the wall along Elizabeth Lake Rd, one of many taco joints dotted around Waterford. Stopped in to see what it was all about. Walked in with an empty parking lot, but soon 2 and 3 more people entered along with a handful of lunch carry out pick ups. This place didn't disappoint. Not a ton of seating, mostly 4 tops. No over the top frills, a simple yet pretty extensive menu of traditional food. Chips and Salsa were brought. I tried the Mexican tacos, 2 carne asada, and 2 carnival. They were very good, held together well, while a lot of places they fall apart. Of course, cilantro, onions, grilled jalapeño , and fresh lime slices were on there, and all fresh. Very fair prices for the quality you're getting, and the food will fill you up.
Huge chiro burrito. Street tacos were also good. Chips warm and perfect thickness. Very good. Salsas were fresh. Love the colors inside. Clean. Parking lot small but plenty open the day we went.
Mexican dinner with chorizo was W-A-Y too salty. The refried beans were tasty (they probably use real lard), Spanish rice was okay, and the tacos & salsa were a nice way to start the meal. I happened to forget my wallet, and my server was really chill about it. I really do appreciate her willingness to trust me to come back and pay.
